HOW TO SEND AN eCARD
Sending an eCard with CLIC Sargent is quick and simple to do.
Step 1 Choose an occasion
Firstly, select the special occasion you want to celebrate from the tabs along the top.
Step 2 Choose an image
Once you have chosen your occasion, choose an eCard design from our selection and the layout style.
Step 3 Upload a logo
If you are a company, you can upload your logo so that it will appear in the top left-hand corner of the eCard. The logo will need to be a web-ready JPEG or a GIF with a width of around 200px, although widths of up to 400px are allowed. Ideally, your logo should be around 10 to 20KB.
Step 4 Create your own personalised message
You can use the short or long message boxes (or both) to create your personalised message. Press ‘Update’ once you have completed this.
Step 5 Add your recipient email address(es)
You can send your eCard to one person or a number of people! Enter the recipient email address(es) manually or upload a CSV file. There are step-by-step instructions to help you upload a CSV file if you need them.
Step 6 Register/Log in
You will need to register in order to send an eCard, or if you have sent one before you can log in to your account. Any eCards you send will be stored in your account so that you can re-send them if you wish.
Step 7 Confirm your eCard
You will be able to view your eCard before you send it and see the number of recipients it will be sent to. You can choose to send it straight away or schedule it for a certain date.
Step 8 Make a donation if you wish
If you choose to make a donation, you will make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with cancer, and their families. Just £2.50 could pay for a copy of CLIC Sargent’s magazine, Shout Out! for children age 7 – 13, supporting them during and after treatment and helping them feel less isolated.
